Dave Darby
Founder
Coach Darby brings 17 years of youth sports coaching (softball, football, soccer), 25 years of professional mentoring and family counseling to our Colorado Royals. His strengths are vision, leadership, and team-building. His weaknesses are possessing a tireless energy and pizza (New York, Chicago, Detroit—he loves them all.)
Julie Darby
Board Member - Team Support
Being a mom of four softball players across multiple age groups, Julie knows just how important organization is in softball. Building on the Royals vision to bring a better experience to Colorado families, she works behind the scenes to create a great, fun, and safe environment for everyone involved in the Colorado Royals.
Melissa White
Board Member - Team Support
Melissa is also a softball mom and works to bring incredible support to all the teams, coaches, and families – for both traveling tournaments and the ones in town. Helping to onboard new players, she answers questions from new players and parents. She’s the force behind our team communication app and works hard to keep all the teams updated.
