Congratulations to Ashley Bissell #27 who signed her national letter of intent to play college softball for the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes (NAIA)!!
Bissell becomes the second Royals scholarship collegiate in 2 years and has been a leader on and off the field. Her early season 6 home runs is already tied for a new Royals record, a record Bissell set just last season! If there is a better power lefty in Colorado, we haven’t seen her.
Bissell will pursue a bachelor’s degree in photography as a film, video, and photographic arts major.
When not on the field for her 18U team, Ash has often been found helping our our younger 14U and 12U teams as a mentor and player-coach.
I’m sure she will not be surprised next season to look up into the stands a time or two and see a wave of Colorado Royals purple cheering her on! Good luck Ashley and congratulations!
